Day 1

Well I did it! I did Shred on Level 1 and man did it kick my butt. I haven't worked out much the last 6 months or so. I actually had to take little 20-30 second breaks throughout the video. As I sit here typing this I am a little sore. But I have had sooo much more energy!! My husband even said, "Wow I can already tell a difference in your energy level because you are dragging around dinner time normally." And he is right...dealing with a 3 year old and 11 month old all day makes you exhausted but I felt great this evening.

I also made a conscious effort to eat better today. I got non fat milk in my coffee, ate a small portion of lunch, drank a lot more water than I usually do, and only had one taco for dinner when I really wanted two.

So all in all the first day went rather well. On to the 2nd.

  3. Good job! And don't worry about taking breaks... as long as you get back to it I think it's fine. And I'm sure tomorrow you'll need less breaks, and less breaks and before you know it level 1 will seem easy.... and then we're all in trouble b/c I'm sure level 2 is harder! Stick with it- we're all here to support each other!

I had to stop early on because my butt was getting kicked six ways to Sunday. Tomorrow I will be better prepared.

  5. Nice job Andrea! You will definitely get more energy. Simple food changes and choices are great! I remember those breaks in the work out when I first started. It doesn't matter, you will still get results. Just finish the work out and enjoy that stretching at the end!
