Well I did it! I did Shred on Level 1 and man did it kick my butt. I haven't worked out much the last 6 months or so. I actually had to take little 20-30 second breaks throughout the video. As I sit here typing this I am a little sore. But I have had sooo much more energy!! My husband even said, "Wow I can already tell a difference in your energy level because you are dragging around dinner time normally." And he is right...dealing with a 3 year old and 11 month old all day makes you exhausted but I felt great this evening.
I also made a conscious effort to eat better today. I got non fat milk in my coffee, ate a small portion of lunch, drank a lot more water than I usually do, and only had one taco for dinner when I really wanted two.
So all in all the first day went rather well. On to the 2nd.

The Night Before
As I am sitting here I am ready to begin my Shred Challenge. I want to win the $50 GC but more than that I want to win the battle in loosing these extra pounds. I am so sick of seeing pictures of myself and not liking what I see. I want to feel good and have more energy.
I have the Shred video, my weights, my Reebok Easytone Shoes thanks to my sister for Xmas, and my wonderful online community to help support me through my journey.
Today I ate horribly and feel tired and sluggish. I can't wait to start feeling more energy. I am a little bit of both...excited and scared to start. Excited to finally be doing something about it but scared that I will fail. I don't want to fail...I've got to keep at it.

I have a personal blog but I was too embarrassed to document my weight loss journey on it so I decided to create a personal blog or journal here to hold me accountable.
A little bit about me...my name is Andrea. I am a stay at home mom. I have 3 kido's...a 15 year old step son named Justin who lives with us full time, a 3 year old active little guy named Logan, and an 11 month old little girl named Addison. They all keep me pretty busy. I also like to read, hang out with my sisters, and watch movies with my husband.
I am the type of person who doesn't really watch what I eat. And as the years roll on so does the extra pounds. I now look at pictures of myself and don't even recognize the person I see. I want to change to feel better about myself and to be more healthy to I can easily have the energy to get down and play with my kids.
I want this website to reflect my personal story of shredding the pounds.
